Tan-y-Bwlch Signal Box
A signal box based on the prototype on the Ffestiniog Railway at the station of Tan-y-Bwlch. Ideal for other narrow gauge layouts as a multi-purpose building, as it was originally built in 1971 to house a lever frame for mechanical signalling, but this never came to fruition, and today is used as a building to house signalling relays.
While as with most of our items this is based from a real building, some compromises have had to be made in model form, as the terrain the building is on in real life is not level. Please note that this building has internal bracings which may make fitting an interior difficult, these could be chopped out (with care) if you wish, but may reduce the structural integrity of the model.
